Happy new year, everyone! Here are my end-of-the-year updates.
2024 was kind of a wild year for me. I moved to Chicago, planned my wedding, got a cat, released a book, produced a play, attended my first Nebula Conference AND World Con AND C2E2, and applied to graduate school. Again.
But…maybe the real New Year is the friends we made a long the way? In all seriousness, I am really thankful I got to meet some amazing people this year, and they have been so kind and supportive. Many of you are probably receiving this email, supporting me just be virtue of being the first subscribers to my newsletter! So thank you. I appreciate you for being here.

Award Eligibility
A new year means it’s awards season! I had a lot of new stuff come out this year, and I wanna use awards season as an excuse to encourage people to check out some of the work that I’m really proud of.
You can read/watch the animation for “Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Wyrm?” here!

The Dreamless Patron Paperback Release
You may have noticed that one of the publications listed is a play that has already closed. Awards wise, does this play stand any chance against Wicked? Of course not! But technically it IS elegible, so I though I would use this as an oppotunity to encourage people to read my latest produced play, The Dreamless Patron.
De-escalation Paperback Release
Almost exactly 4 years after its initial release (!!!!!) I have now made one of my first-ever games (and still one of my most popular!) De-escalation, available to order. Previously only available in select game stores, De-escalation is now available anywhere, anytime, always.
Creatures of Ruin
The companion game to Empress of Dust, Creatures of Ruin, was released this December. Have you ever wanted to be a giant crab? Now is your time! You can play as a crab or a scavenger in the world of The Bastion Cycle. And if you enjoyed Empress, the sequel will be out very soon…
I Hope This Email Finds You
I also released a new game this month! It’s an email-based horror RPG (because email are kinda horrific, aren’t they? I say to you via an email.) and I’m SUPER excited about. I’ve had this idea cooking for a while and I finally had the chance to write it during Strong Branch’s WAFLS writing challege.
Coming Soon…
Some games are ALMOST done. Here’s a sneak peek and what’s to come.
To Come in 2025…
Slated for release in 2025:
The Stench of Adventure Season 4
Murder Babies (a new audio drama from SBP!)
The sequel to Empress of Dust
Tons of games, including “Gun Wizards”
A new play! (produced by SBP OR maybe…someone else? We’ll see)
A TON of other exciting things that I simply cannot share yet because they are still to new.
Also! I’m getting married :)
