Alex's March Roundup
I talked about the importance of pretending to be a plant and people actually listened
The first half of March was an election-season blur, but after the primary came a wealth of exciting stuff!
ICFA Presentation
I went to ICFA this month to present my paper on Annihilation and alternative cognitions! It was not only my first paper presentation but also my first academic conference. I got to meet a lot of cool people and reunite with a lot of other cool people! Plus a learned a ton, and gathered a lot of writing inspiration from everyone’s talks. I’m hoping to be back next year!

Only a few more days to support the audiobook production of Lesbians in Space! It’s already funded, but we want to help Space Wizard reach its stretch goals.
Coming Soon…
I’ve just finished the first draft of the third and final installment of The Bastion Cycle. I’ve still got a lot of work to do on it, but today I wrote out my vision for the cover, which makes it feel really real. It comes out in November, so if want to get caught up before the last one drops, now is the time.

Also on the horizon:
Two big game projects I hope to release this year
Some non-fiction article pitches that I’m currently sending out
Some short fiction that’s almost ready to make its rounds
A novel and a novella that probably won’t be ready for a while BUT I like sharing that they exist and will be out in the world eventually
That’s all for now! Wishing everyone a joyful Spring!
-Alex
